Judging from the promotion of national policies and local governments, China's Internet of Things research does not blindly follow foreign countries, but is oriented to the country's major strategies and application needs, and develops basic standard systems, key technologies, application development, system integration, and testing and evaluation technologies for the Internet of Things. The research on these fields has formed a characteristic development route driven by applications, which is close to the international level in terms of technology, standards, industries, applications and services, making it possible for China to occupy the high end of the value chain in this field.
